Dr. Paul Farmer

I was very sad to read that Dr. Paul Farmer had passed away recently. I was in high school with his sister, Katy, but at that time I wasn't aware she had a brother. I was certainly impressed to see all of his accomplishments! Rest in peace, Dr. Farmer....

What to say? A global powerhouse , great intellect and unbelievable person ,lost too soon.

Truly sorry for your loss.. His humanitarian work and the lives he affected lives on. May your heavenly Father comfort the family at this time.

Dr. Farmer, Polo, left us too soon. We did our Pediatric rotation together and Dr Farmer as a medical student would be the last one to leave for the day. His dedication and compassion were infinite and announced his great accomplishments. We are grateful for all his work and particularly for his dedication and great contributions to healthcare in Haiti.

My prayerful support to his family. What a loss to his family, his friends, his patients, Haiti, South Africa, the poor of the world. Our country, the USA, needs to learn from him about health care service. I read Mountains Beyond Mountains many years ago and was completely inspired by his vision, commitment, and effort.
