Dr. Sakas, we miss you so! You are unforgettable in your kindness, knowledge, compassion and witty sense of humor. I am still at a loss for words strong enough to express my devastation at losing a brilliant vet for my birds, and a wonderful friend for 36 years! May you find your place in Heaven among all the feathered and furry friends you held in your hands and in your heart, and may your family take comfort in finding out just how loved you were (and still are) by so many!

Seriously- this man lived with passion and humor and care! I can see a statue/monument to such -this Man, that Mattered.

My Heartfelt condolences to the Sakas family. Dr. Peter S. Sakas DVM was very kind and genuine to us when our parakeet became sick. Other vets wanted to euphonize the bird. It lived another 5 years

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

I knew this story from my Dad but I was so shocked after all these year back that My Dad among Dr. Sakas first stared...
