Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs. Marks--

Our family was your next door neighbors in Scottsville, VA oh so many years ago. My parents always remarked on what good neighbors you were!

I have such fond memories of Melissa and Mona playing together, of Moby adding extra energy, and of Annie as just a toddler.

I am so sorry for your loss of Dr. Marks. Knowing your generosity of spirit and kindness, I'm sure you have a wonderful network of support to help you through these days. Please...

Dear Pat,
I hate writing this on e-mail, but we don't have your address. Joe and I were so sad to read of Dick's death, but grateful that it was peaceful. Joe has such fond memories of Dick's generosity, supplying free football tickets and wonderful tailgate banquets. Joe remembers fishing at Isle at Haut with Dick and your grandson and we both relish the memories of his Southern warmth, hospitality and good humor. We have always been awed by Dick's creativity in designing your stunning...

Dear Patsy and family, Dick was the last cousin of mine left. We had not been in contact for years and I regret that. I am sorry to hear of his passing.
With sympathy, Blake Putney

Dr. Marks and I met over thirty years ago. He had a profound impact on my life and for that I am eternally grateful. I will miss him as a friend...his character and personality speaking volumes. May God comfort the family during your time of sorrow and give you peace that surpasses all understanding.

With deepest sympathy,
Robert Johnson

Dear Patsy and Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of great loss. Dr. Marks was such a kind, gentle and caring man. I considered him as not only my physician but also a friend. His short time in Scottsville was a blessing to the community and to all who were fortunate enough to know him.
May your faith, love and fond memories temper the pain of loss.
With Love,
Montie Duncan

Dear Pat and Anne,
I just wanted to tell you how sorry I was to hear about your loss. I will pray for you and the rest of your family as y'all adjust to your new "normal." May the God of all comfort give you His peace.
Love,
Patti Evans

Dear Patsy and Family,
I am so sorry to hear about Dr. Marks. We loved having you as neighbors, and were especially blessed to have Dr. Marks as our physician. He mentored one of my medical school boyfriends when I was in nursing school at UVa. I'm sure he received a great introduction to family practice with Dr. Marks.
Thinking of all of you at this time.
Love,
Alice Hamner Sorum

Dear Patsy and children.....I have such fond memories of you all. Scottsville was so fortunate to have Dr Marks in our community to take care of us. Afterall, he was family! His mother-in-law living just up the street from his office. Everyone loved Dr Marks as well as you, Patsy and your cute children...Melissa and Moby...I babysat them many many times. And I remember my father used to tell us about Dick's mother....I think they used to go to dances together! Fond fond memories of a...

Dr. Marks was totally wonderful. I am from Scottsville, back in the day when Dr. Marks practiced. We were fortunate to have him at UVA when my Grandmother had cancer. It was so great to someone you knew to take care of her. Rest in peace
