Not sure what to say?

Just learned of Coach Leslie's passing. He was my head football coach at Upper Darby High School from 1959-1961. I learned some things about him from his obituary I never knew. Another member of the "Great Generation" who fought and won WW II. It was honor to have played football under him.

Dr. Leslie was one of the finest individuals I have ever had the honor of knowing. As my high school principal, he was a truly caring person who garnered the greatest respect from his students. It is because of Dr. Leslie that I continued my education and became a school administrator. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on forever in the hearts and minds of those who knew him. My condolences to his family. I am sorry for your loss. My thoughts and...

One of the best men I have ever known. A wonderful Principal and so very fair to all of us at Goshen High. RIP and know how many lives you touched. You will be missed.

My condolences to the family at this sad time. Dr. Leslie was a great man and provided wonderful support and guidance to me at GHS (Class of 1973). Being a Principal is a tough job and he carried it out with efficiency, professionalism, and always with a focus on the students.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Doctor Leslie's family. He was a wonderful principle and I especially remember his 'rap sessions' at his home, he worked hard at really connecting with his students. Doctor Leslie was an inspiration and I am lucky to have known him.

RIP Dr Leslie,

I would like to thank you for your years as my Goshen High School Principal. You were a soft spoken kind gentleman.

I was on the Goshen High School wrestling team JV champion 1983 thanks to help from your wonderful son Steve. Steve took me under his wings and taught me my much needed skills.

I know you will have peace and you will be with your son again. We will all meet again....

Respectfully yours,

Mike Caldera class of 85

R.I.P. Dr. Leslie. You were an amazing, caring and wonderful man. He was always fair to me. And, an easy person to talk to. I went to Goshen High 1970- 1973. My best wishes and prayers for the family.

Our sincerest sympathy to the whole Leslie family. Dr. Leslie was a kind and wonderful educator, as well as a leader in the Goshen community. We have so many good memories from our high school years at GHS. Prayers of comfort for his family and friends. Rest In Peace, Dr. Leslie.

We were so fortunate to have Dr. Leslie with us in Goshen for the years we did. He was firm but also had compassion. He was always supportive and had that great smile and wink of the eye when he saw you in the hallway. My sympathies to the family and of course I will always remember Steve Leslie (RIP #24), who was my football teammate and fellow GHS class of '75 alum.
