Not sure what to say?

I was a resident with Mark in 1984. I was going down memory lane and looked him up. I am so sorry to hear of his passing but happy that he had such a wonderful life with his work, wife and children. I really loved working with him. I left the program after a year and moved to Northern California and did pediatrics, otherwise I'm sure we would have been friends for years. I'm sure he touched so many lives with his wonderful personality.

In Loving Memory of a wonderful Doctor, Husband, Father and Friend.Dr. Rodney Root

You will be missed dearly Dr Root. I had the pleasure in getting to meet you and get to know you. Your stories about your beautiful wife and the kids I will never forget. I was so sad to hear that you passed. But knowing you are in heaven now looking down upon us all that has had the pleasure in being your family, friends, patients, and so much more can help us smile upon your life spent on earth. You are missed.

Dr. Root is the only reason that I'm still here. I developed Cancer at 22 years old. Doc helped me through every bit of it with his kindness and knowledge. Such an amazing man. He had a golden heart

My prayers and thoughts are with your family. I am so deeply sorry for your lost.

I'm so sorry to hear about Mark's passing. I was a patient of his for years. He was such a caring and passionate doctor. He had a great personality too. May you rest in peace, Dr. Root. Prayers sent to Bernadette and your children.

This great man saved my life over 30 years ago, when I was only 15. This was while he was still fairly new in his practice, and had a small office downtown. He is truly one of my heros!

In one sense , I knew him and family well and in another I felt I wished I´d known him better. While I coached Daniel for years in Basketball and did personal business with family, this loss hit hard. Why, just because of history but mainly because when you think of how god would like us to treat others or when you walk up to someone and you see a peace or gods hand on their personality, that´s how I see and will miss Mark. Because family is so important, it pains me for his beautiful family....

The most loving, caring doctor I ever had. Dr. Root quite literally saved my life. He already had his wings here on earth, now he has the wings of the angels and sits beside the Lord.
