Not sure what to say?

Paul was a great colleague at LSU! Sad to hear about this. Way too young

I am deeply saddened to learn about the passing of my friend and medical mentor, Dr. Starr. My family had received care from HSNT for years, and my wife was once his patient. In the summer of 2021,I had the privilege of shadowing Dr. Starr to gain insights into clinical care. He was always kind, open, patient, constantly sharing his vast knowledge with me. His practicing style and communication skills taught me so much, and I consider him my role model as a doctor. He is the one who helped me...

Dr. Starr was a great doctor, he always told me how it was no matter what, even told me that I wouldn't have most of my health problems if I would just lose some weight, and he was right. I never had a doctor be that blunt with me and it helped me out so very much. I am truly going to miss him as my doctor, and my heart goes out to his family and how much he will be missed there. I don't think I will be blessed to find another doctor like him that helped so many people every day.

Best Dr I ever had! - Only one to try and actually help me in 2021/22. If I had been able to stay in Denton and get through his horrendous office staff - He was only one on right track for what we now know is MCAS, EDS, and POTS - but he was the only one who even cared to look into the rare genetic stuff! I missed him already. My heart goes out to both his family and All the other patients that have lost one of the BEST Drs I have ever met in the low income system!

Thank you Dr Starr I am in tears writing thisyou were the one who found out I had colon cancer you never gave up until you got a diagnosisI’m going to miss you Pamela DeFrance

Dr. Starr was compassionate and always worked with me to address concerns when it came to my multiple health conditions. He made a difference to me. Thank you, Dr. Starr. Condolences to his family and loved ones.

We lost a very warm human being, an exceptional Doctor...much love for his family and friends.
My only Doctor in Texas so far...

I only knew Paul recently, through work, and his positive influence on healthcare and interoperability. But he also touched my heart, with his authentic and kind demeanor. A man in a milllion. Sorry to lose him. May he live on in peace and his influence continue for millenia

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
