Not sure what to say?

To all the Mahers, I was so very sorry to learn of Timmy´s illness and passing. And I say "Timmy" because that was his childhood name to the Porter family kids. Our dad, Albert Porter, was a good friend of Timmy´s dad, Dr. Fred Maher, whom we all called Dr. Freddy. Dr. Freddy was best man at my parents´ wedding in 1945. It has been a long time since I saw Timmy and I am so sorry and disappointed that we missed the obituary notice as the Porter family would have certainly paid our respects...

Brian and Barbara and family , we love you all and lifted up Tim's soul at the Fatima and Lourdes' shrines this past week. Divine Providence that we were praying at these Holy places during his services. We prayed for all of the family during this time of grief. Remember that God is close to the broken-hearted. Love , Ware and Suzanne Carpenter and family

To the Maher family, I offer my deepest condolences. I knew Tim was in the hospital and was not aware of his passing. I would have been at his funeral services had I known. He is with his mom and dad now and no longer in pain.

Anne, I am so sorry about the loss of your brother . It very sad to lose our siblings. May he rest in our father´s arm .

Brian, I was so sorry to hear of Tim´s passing. I was equally sorry to hear of what he and the family had to endure in his final year. He deserved much better. His service was truly a tribute to a life well lived. He is now enjoying the rewards of being such a good and caring person. Take care. Todd Wolff

To the family of Dr Timothy Maher, I didn´t know him, but if he was anything like his father, Dr Fred Maher, he was the best. I´m so sorry for your loss. To the children of Dr Fred Maher, I loved him and Dr Timothy resembles his dad so much. Dr Fred Maher operated on my 5 week old baby in 1967 for a double hernia. I was only 18 at the time and very scared for my baby but later found out that my baby boy was in great hands. Two years later Dr Fred Maher removed my spleen when no other...

If how you treat others is the measure of a man, he wins the award as the best. With that old New Orleans style, he made everyone he came in contact with feel like family. The world would be better if there were more like him. I enjoyed every interaction and conversation. What a great person. May God bless him and my condolences to his family.

Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him, may he rest in peace.

Single Memorial Tree

It was a pleasure working with Dr. Mayer for the first 5 years of my career as a CRNA at Woman´s Hospital. Our group is saddened to hear of his passing. He was great to work with as he was very helpful and a great leader of our group for many years. He will be missed. Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord, and let the perpetual light shine upon him. Amen.
