Not sure what to say?

Dearest Terri,
We were so shocked to hear the news. Mike's mother, Hattie, called us and said she read it in the Waco paper. Words cannot express our sympathy to you and the girls. We all shared a lot of good times at Baylor Law School and although we have drifted apart over the years, there are some people you always consider friends no matter how much time and distance have come between you. Drew was a special person in so many ways and I'm sure he will be missed by many. His...

Mrs. Heard, Hilary and Haley, I am so surprised and sorry to hear of your loss. I remember back from our drill team days that Mr. Heard was a kind and caring man. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I know that your family has a strong faith and I that it will help to carry you through this difficult time.

I am caught totally by surprise with the sad news of Drew's passing. We started as the best of friends in junior high and high school. And although our lives had taken us to different places and we did not stay in close contact nearly enough, I think both of us always regarded and counted on each other as a true friend for life. Drew Heard is a friend I dearly loved.

I was very pleased to finally begin communicating more frequently with Drew recently, and I was looking forward...

Drew and I are forever friends. We loved Houston,Tallowood Baptist Church, Memorial HS, and Baylor University. Our daughters are Baylor PBP Sorority sisters. Terri and I have been friends since college. This is the finest of men from the most wonderful Baylor family: a loving & precious mother, father, sister, and brother, the most beautiful wife and daughters, the Best of the Best. I have loved the Houston Heard family forever. Drew is my forever friend. He will be missed by all who have...

Kristin,Jennifer, and I were sad to hear of your loss.We have such fond memories of our days on the soccer fields and in the neighborhood with our girls and their dads. Our prayers and thoughts are with you at this time.

Pam,Kristin, and Jennifer Kirkley

Your family is in my prayers.

Drew will be greatly missed. His faithful attendance and support of the annual Heard reunion was appreciated and important. May the Lord be with Terri and the girls during this time.

Please accept my sincere condolences in the loss of Drew. My sister, Sue Flanagan, spoke of him often and fondly, and although I didn't know him, I am certain of the kind of person he was, loved by many and loving to all. My prayers are with you.
