Maojor Ash was a member of the 138th Ftr Sq, New York Air National Guard when we got activated to during the "Cold War" and deployed to Phalsbourg AB, France for the Berlin Crisis from 1 Oct 61 thru 20Aug 62...Once Maj Ash stopped flying he became a administrative officer.
