Coachman's Golf Outing
May 2013

Duane was one of 32 of us on a three-day golf outing at the Coachman's Golf Resort near Stoughton, Wisconsin in May 2013. We have many happy memories of Duane and share in your sadness.

My deepest sympathies are being sent to the Bark family. I knew Duane in high school and our paths briefly crossed again at River Valley. I was deeply saddened when a friend told me he was in the hospital battling Covid-19. He was in my thoughts and prayers, as were the family during his fight. Duane was a kind person with a good soul. His absence will leave a void that our many fond, collective memories can hopefully help fill.

Pam and family. Our sincere sympathy to you. What you have experienced seems so unfair. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. Please see the bright light as a sign of inner strength to help you get through. Please take care of yourself. Mary and Pete Neisius

Our deepest condolences to the entire Bark family! Duane and family were awesome neighbors of ours in PDC and the principal of my two daughters. He made us feel welcome to our new neighborhood and the girls new school! The Bark family is a strong family and I know you will let your strength and faith get you through these difficult times! Big hugs and much love to all of you !!

Although I did not know Duane personally, I followed his courageous battle with Covid via my sister's postings on Facebook. She was a teacher at Markesan High School for over 30 years, and I know how much she respected your husband, dad, and grandpa. She asked our family to pray for him, and I began posting your messages to my prayer warriors. It's truly amazing to feel like you know someone through the wonderful stories your family shared. Just know there is a group of prayer warriors in my...

It is with great sadness that I have to recognize the passing of Duane. Duane was an outstanding individual who understood that the purpose of life was a life of purpose. I had the privilege of working with Duane for close to 30 years. Duane always put kids first and was a role model, mentor and leader to generations of students in Wisconsin. He was a person that brought a smile to every room and a calm demeanor during any crisis, big or small. A class act through and through. My...

Gladys and I want to express our deepest sympathy to the Bark family. Duane's' father, Doug, was one of my favorite teachers at Oregon High School back in the 1960's.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. He meant so much to so many people. You will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.
