Not sure what to say?

i only had Mr. Barker for summer school once but we had hella fun in that class. I'll never forget it; and that was about 50 years ago, lol

My deepest sympathy to you and yours. I am 1973 alumni. Mr. Barker was my social studies instructor. Great teacher. May he rest in peace.

I had the pleasure of meeting Duane when we worked together on cases with the civil grand jury.He was not only professional, but very caring about the citizens of Fresno County. He did a wonderful job and was always smiling! My condolences to the entire family.

Linda and family, He was a good friend and colleague at Clovis Unified and at the Fresno County Office of Education. He was always positive and I enjoyed his friendship. My sincere condolences to all of you.

It was a joy to have Duane be a part of PALS. He will be greatly missed. Please feel free to stop by our main office anytime! Thank you for sharing him with us.

Mr.Barker was my social studies teacher in either 7th or 8th grade at Pinedale Elementary. He made an impact on my life by his love for education and the impact he could make in his students lives! He and Tony Peterson were two of my favorite teachers. In fact, they are the only two I remember! God bless his family and may he Rest In Peace

So very sorry for your loss. Our whole family sends our love and prayers for your family. Just knowing Duane always put a smile and a laugh on everyone's face.

Duane was a true gentlemen and he will be missed. He was always willing to share a story or a word of wisdom, and I looked forward to his visits to the Clovis Unified district office following his retirement. My thoughts and prayers are with his family as they mourn the loss of a truly great man.
