Not sure what to say?

I was very fortunate to have worked with Duane on the purchase/creation of White River County Park. His vision for his beloved farm has become a reality that is now enjoyed by thousands of people annually. He was a gregarious and giving man who will be missed! Kevin Brunner

I just opened my flower shop in Lyons. Duane walked in and within minutes it´s like I knew forever. He told he just sold his farm for the park for other people can enjoy. And he bought flowers for the love of life Sherry. Truly a kind human. I´m a better person to have known him.

Sherry, You and Duane were consummate hosts in Lake Geneva and delightful guests in Scottsdale. Marcus and I felt truly privileged to be a part of Duane's 90th birthday last summer. We will miss the twinkle in his eyes, his spontaneous laughter, his love of critters large and small and his generous nature. We will fittingly toast his passing and your health with Kentucky Straight Bourbon, fond recollections, and an Irish blessing. Slainté

On March 22nd, our dear friends Duane and Sherry spent an afternoon visiting with us in our Florida home. Duane had the usual twinkle in his eye, contagious laugh and a wee splash of vodka to celebrate our new home with us. He had great pleasure teasing Lilly, our Golden Retriever. We will miss you Duane, and will always remember the great times filled with laughter we shared together. May your soul rest in peace til we are together once again - listening to those special stories you...

I'm so sorry for the loss of your father. I know that you were very close and the apple of his eyes. His precious princess who loved his horses as much as he did and loved to ride, as he did. You've inherited his love of travel as he did to the very end. Also his love of God through nature. Love you my sister

I am so sorry for your loss. My fondest memories were on that beautiful property. My father loved that place too. I actually helped a cow have baby there! Some things you never forget. He will be missed ad never forgotten God Bless you all. Much love, Debbie
