Not sure what to say?

Duane was one of those special people one encounters in life that can only be remembered as Unique. He had a natural capacity to Listen intently, and a keen inteligent understanding of life and people. A person who cared about others. He was truly a fine person to know, as I did for many years. He will be greatly missed as a genuine friend. God Speed You Duane, and God Bless.

Mr. Ebert was my 5th grade teacher at Meadowbrook in Howard in 1993, the year he retired. I was lucky enough to be in his last class. I was also lucky to have continued to maintain a friendship with him, including exchanging much correspondence with him, over the years. I always visited with him when I would return home to visit my parents. He was a lovely man and he will be dearly missed.

My sincere condolences to Duane's family. My lifelong friend, mentor and confidant. So many stories, so many great times filled with laughter. Duane had such a gentle soul and such a big heart, I will never forget....

Duane and his Mom were our next door neighbors on Bond St. many years ago. Every year at Christmas time they would invite us over to their beautifully-decorated home for a little holiday cheer. Such a beautiful memory.

Duane and his Mom were our next door neighbors on Bond St. many years ago. Every year they invited us over at Christmas time to their beautifully-decorated home for a little holiday cheer. Such a great memory of a kind man and his Mom.

Mr. Ebert was my 6th grade teacher at Resurrection school in Allouez. He was a great teacher who treated all the students fairly and with respect. He brought history teachings into our classroom in a very memorable way. Rest in Peace Mr. Ebert.
