Duane was a Milwaukee icon loved by everyone he met. He had a great sense of humor and a lot of courage to face his battle with cancer. The information he shared has helped many people I am sure. Teri, may god bless you and keep you close to him in your time of need.

Duane Gay was a true Wisconsinite. As a news personality, he was honest, intelligent, and trustworthy. His battle with cancer was dignified and courageous. He will be missed.

Duane will be missed. I honestly thought he would beat his cancer.
He was an inspiration to anyone who knew him. I didn't know him, but I felt I did. He cracked me up on Lazer. We are keeping his family in our prayers.

We were on vacation when Duane passed away and our daughter called us to let us know. We were so saddened by the news of his death. He was certainly a fighter and champion and will always be remembered as a wonderful, kind hearted person, extremely a down to earth person. We were lucky to have been able to experience his talent as a broadcaster. Our prayers are with his family. Also a note to his wife...he was so lucky to have you. God Bless you all.

My husband and I are both saddened by the loss of such a courageous man. My husband has Cancer and we are going through many of the same times as Duane and his family have. We watched his reports on WISN and thought of him often. My husband heard the news of Duanes passing and told me as he was crying. He has given us great strength to live with Cancer. Our hope is that some day they will find a cure. May his strength and courage live in us all.God Bless you.

To the Duane Gay Family,
I was saddened to hear of Duane's passing. I watched him on the channel 18 news years ago and loved hearing his stories on the Bob and Brian show. He was a very gifted man and though I never met him, I feel like I lost one of my friends. May God bless him and all of you too.

I was saddened to hear of Duane Gay's passing while watching the news on Wednesday. He was a true professional when it came to journalism. I'll fondly remember cracking up while listening to his stories on the Bob and Brian show on WLZR.
I never met him personally, but it feels like I lost a dear friend. I hope Heaven has a 10PM newscast and that it now has a new anchor.
