Not sure what to say?

I loved my dad so much he was the best dad in the world. He hid from me what he was going through because I was so young, I do understand but I am so sad that I was not there for him.Me and my family were crushed. I wish I could have written this earlier I am just now finding but I am glad I got to do it. I love you so much dad. Love Joe.

Your loss still weighs so heavy on my heart. You were a bright light in this world - a tireless social justice activist and professor, brilliant therapist, and wonderful friend. Your legacy lives on in your beautiful family and the many lives you touched with your deep authenticity and compassion. You will always be remembered.

A great colleague and worker who uplifted the Baltimore community. You will be greatly missed. Your impact transcends time

You have no idea how much your kindness made a difference. As a woman who had suffered trauma, you changed the way I see men. I am so thankful to have been touched by your kind soul.

Duane Patrick Haley was my nephew. He was a lively and energetic spirit. He was a great family man and scholar. HE LOVED HIS CHILDREN, Joseph and Emma. I always loved watching him interacting with my mother, his grandmother. They work laugh and tell jokes together. Sometimes he would visit with my mother and at the end of the visit he would say: HEY GRANDMA......I’m out of here! He was a great nephew and friend. With Lots of Love, Uncle Maurice ❤❤❤

What a wonderful man. Thank you for your impact in our families life. My condolences to his family. He spoke of you all so lovingly. You all are in my families prayers. May God grant you peace.

Amazing professor, I loved hearing your opinion and feeling heard in class. Thank you. You made a huge impact on my first year at a PWI from an HBCU lol. That meant a lot to me.
