Not sure what to say?

Mr. Hall was my 6th grade teacher (1965-66) at La Mesa Elementary School in La Mesa California. I still have the class picture. I remember his passion for everything Hawaiian. He was one excellent teacher. I join you in missing him.

I'm sorry to hear of his passing. He was a sweet and kind man. He was my fourth grade teacher at Highlands Elementary in Spring Valley 1978-1979. I remember he loved the Duke and had a good sense of humor. It sounds like he had a good and fulfilling life, he made a difference in countless children's lives and will be remembered well.

He was a great 6th grade teacher. I remember him at Casa de Oro Elementary helping us all grow into good people and preparing us to move on to junior high. Thank you and may the Hall family by comforted by knowing his students thought so highly of him.

As our 6th Grade teacher at Casa de Oro Elementary School in 1962-3, Mr. Hall was a great teacher, leader, friend & example of what a man should grow to be.

Thank you, Mr. Hall and Rest in Peace!

In 1958 I was a 6th grader at Spring Valley Elementary School. I was blessed to have Mr. Hall as my teacher. He was one of THOSE teachers who made a difference in a child's life--mine! He made learning fun! He made me feel special. I will always remember his kind manner, his bright smile and my 6th grade school year! Sending blessings and prayers to his family as I know he will be sorely missed! Maurine (Fritz) Kiesz

His Journey's Just Begun

Don't think of him as gone away - ?his journey's just begun, ?life holds so many facets ?this earth is only one.

Just think of him as resting ?from the sorrows and the tears ?in a place of warmth and comfort ?where there are no days and years.

Think how he must be wishing ?that we could know today ?how nothing but our sadness ?can really pass away.

And think of him as living ?in the hearts of those he touched… ?for nothing loved is ever...

It was a pleasure to know Duane. I met him about 4 yrs ago when he moved to Luther Ridge @ Middletown. I was excited to meet him because my maiden name was Hall and the biggest surprise of all, we were both from Chula Vista, Calif. We both shared some wonderful memories and had great talks! What a sweet, soft-spoken soul. God bless him and I'm so sorry for the Hall family loss, I know he will be sorely missed...Vicki Hall S.
