Duane played a significant role in the economic education of thousands of metro Atlanta teachers' understanding of the macro economy. In easy-to-understand terms, he explained difficult concepts, and enabled educators to not only understand, but be better teachers of monetary and fiscal policy issues. For me, Duane was the epitome of the outstanding teacher, and a true role model. In addition, such a fine and caring individual! I love you, Duane, and shall cherish your memory.
