Not sure what to say?

Dear Darlene & girls,
Im saddend by the weather preventing me from traveling to Rochester today. I really wanted to support you and your family as you all mean so much to me.As I stare out the window, it just keeps comming down.I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my heart and in my prayers!
Love,
Nancy (Felling)Lunneborg

Duane was a role model for me when I joined the NWS. He taught me how to be a professional when the weather was bad and the workload high, and how to enjoy the commeraderie of working shift work together when the weather was less taxing.

Outside of work there are great memories of parties, bowling, softball, and boundary waters canoeing. I am glad to have seen Duane on one of his last good days and to talk about some of those great memories.

My condolences to Darlene...

Dear Darlene & family,
I was shocked and saddend by the sudden loss of Duanes passing. I have such wonderful childhood memories of him. My heart is heavy, know that he will be missed. I know that strength and comfort can be found in each other.Im so terribly sorry.
With Gods blessings and love,
Paula(Felling)Carlson & family

Diane, I'm so sorry for the loss of your dad. I know how you feel as I lost my father to cancer also. There are very few words of condolences that aren't cleches. But know that I will pray for peace and comfort for you and you family.

We were saddened to hear of Duane's passing from his brother Keith, it has been some time since we have seen Duane and Darlene but have always had a wonderful time when we were with them. May God comfort the O'Malley family and angels watch over them. Bob and Val

Duane and I worked together for many years, perhaps more than 25. Words like good friend, fishing buddy, good in the canoe, I could go on and on. Farewell my friend. Dean

Duane was the third person I met when I hired on at the NWS in Minneapolis in 1972. He made an great first impression, and that never changed. I knew him to be one of the hardest working and dedicated people I ever met. The tax payers got more than their money's worth out of Dewey. He was confident, always willing to share his knowledge and to support whatever mission existed in the operations area of the office, resoectful, humble, forgiving, snd a cherished friend. We could use many more...
