Duane was such a great man - I met him many times over the years and he was always so kind hearted and friendly. You will be dearly missed.

I worked with Duane in the late 80´s and early 90´s and later from 2006-2012. He was an amazing contributor to Tigard´s quality of life. Always kind and compassionate and dedicated to service. His contribution to housing and transportation equity was visionary. He embodies qualities that we all should strive to emulate.

On Thursday this week Tigard and Oregon Department of Transportation will be bidding the next major project toward completing the Fanno Creek Trail. I so appreciate Duane's legacy and am proud to be implementing this project which is bringing Duane's vision to reality. What a kind man whose work and vision will serve Tigard and our region long past his life. I wish Duane's family peace and healing.

This year Duane and Noriko came and visited Billy (as Je is also ill) and it meant a lot to us. I remember Duane as a very kind and gentle man. Again our thought and prayers...
