Duane F. Sheets

To his Wisconsin classmates and friends, please know that he thought of you often. Those years were his most memorable - the time of his life.

Thanks to everyone for your kind words, it really means alot. I miss him so much. 81 years weren't enough

As a fellow classmate of WHS Class of "51" I offer my deepest sympathy to Duane's family. I mainly remember "Sheets" for his athletic talents while watching and cheering on the Comets from the sidelines.

To the family: Duane and I met in the 8th grade in a one-room country school near Almond in Portage County, Wisconsin, and later graduated from Waupaca High. We swam in Pickerel Lake in the summer, were in 4-H and watched the local team play baseball.
He later played on the team. He was a great guy, still has many friends in this area who are sorry to learn of his passing. I wish we could be there to share your sorrow with a hug.
