Not sure what to say?

My friend and my mentor, but mostly my friend. Love always,

My heart goes out to you at this time and in the days ahead. I knew Cathy and Todd in high school. You're never quite prepared to lose a parent even when you can see it coming. Please accept my deepest symphathies.

Dear Joan,

Dean and I are so very sorry to hear of Duane's passing. Dean has many fond memories of you and Duane and we feel bad that time and distance has had to separate us like it has over the the years. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dean and Joan Cunningham

My Grandpa was a kind, gentle, quiet man. I will miss spending Christmas Morning with him every year. I love you grandpa! You will be missed.

I worked with Duane for many, many years at the CEU Museum and I wouldn't trade a single one of them. Not only was he right there to play a joke on me, usually after I had played one on him, but he really taught me a lot about the world of business. The world is less bright because he is gone. My thoughts and prayers are with Joan and Duane's family. I miss you T! If there are fossils in Heaven, save a few for me.

I didn't get to know Duane well but enjoyed the conversations we did have as he passed by my desk. I have heard others talk of him and all were very impressed by him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends

I sit here trying to find the right words. I was truly saddened to hear of Mr. Taylor's passing. I worked with him at Skaggs and it was the best working/family I have ever been a part of. He took me under his wing, got me to go back to school and make something of myself. He was a very important influence in my life. Our Skaggs family was all due his influence on us. He was a great man and I know he will be greatly missed. My thoughts are with all of you at this very diffuctlt time.

I don't think anyone who had the opportunity to meet Duane didn't end up calling him friend. You just couldn't help but like then love the guy. He was an icon whose knowledge spanned millions of years and millions of topics. He made you laugh, loved to tease, and touched our hearts! It has been a priviledge to know him. Joan, Kris, Karen, Kathy & family our hearts are heavy at a loss of such a choice, dear man. He was a man among men and we loved him so. God Bless You All - He's singing...

I'm a better person for knowing Duane. I loved our talks about bones and archaeology and I really enjoyed playing guitar with him a couple of times. He taught me an easier way to play a chord or two. Joan, my thoughts are with you. Take care and I'll see you soon.
