My Dad set a wonderful example for my brother and me. A good, kind and respectable man who honored and served his country, loved and cared for his family and was a good friend to many.
Dad had an incredible mind and recall. I could ask him about almost anything and receive answers that included amazing detail and accurate history. He had a wonderful wit and sense of humor and had a knack for bringing out out the best in everyone.

I have the most wonderful memories of Duane and Betty Terry. They were always gracious and welcoming to me. As a young single adult in my 20s, and always thereafter, they made me feel welcome in their family. I recall fishing trips with Duane Jr and Duane Sr. I recall countless family gatherings. They were simply two of the nicest people I have ever known, and I will miss Duane dearly. He was always a shining example of service and respect. Rest In Peace, Duane.
