Duane Thomas Triemstra

It is now one year later ,and we will be arriving in RIO VERDE soon. There is an absence felt at the pool where we visited with Duane and caught up on each other's lives, solved the world's problems, and left each other with words of wisdom. We still feel your presence ..........

We just arrived in Arizona April 4th. We went to the pool expecting to "hold court" with Duane only to be told of his sudden passing. What a kind and gentle man, we will dearly miss him. We are devastated, and so sorry four your loss charla.

Duane was a true Christian gentleman. He lived that reputation throughout his tenure with Kalamazoo County. I always felt comfortable in going to Duane and depending on his advice and counsel while I was on the Kalamazoo County Board of Commissioners. After his retirement he was helpful to me again and to the Barry County Board of Commissioners. His legacy lives on with both boards of commissioners and certainly in Kalamazoo County governement.

One of the best that Kalamazoo County could have. His honesty and integrity were absolutely impeccable. Great Christian man.. we will pray for his family as they move forward. As a family you can be honored to call him Dad.
