Not sure what to say?

I don’t know Duane but I heard talk of him on SBN. Beth Ann and her new husband Dave were honoring Duane. I had to look him up. I stumbled upon this obituary as well as some other articles. Duane was a wonderful honorable man. God Bless you for your service and laying down your life for country. My sincerest Condolences to his family and friends. I know for most people his death has been so long ago. For those that knew him and loved him dearly it must feel like yesterday. May God continue to...

I told numerous stories about you this past week. It is amazing how often you come up. Our Marine days and working on the Oldsmobile was a long time ago but I remember them well. You are thought of often. Thank you for your service and Semper Fidelis.

Duane, everywhere I travel, your name is mentioned, stories about you and with you are shared along with nothing but fond memories. Your name is being spoken...you are not forgotten, only remembered! You are missed and loved as your light continues to shine on!

I still talk about you finding and buying your first car at age 16 . You paid $150 for the 1966 Ford Mustang. I thought it had a cracked block but it was only a bad frost plug which we replaced for a couple of dollars. You were so proud of that car and it ran so well for you. You were such a fast learner in everything you did and I mean everything. Your Mom and I miss you every day. Dad

Duane is an awesome soul. We continue to feel his presence even though he is no longer among us, Thats a gift. We love you Duane.

Duane: your name came up this week in the Heritage Room. Miss you, Brother.

Happy birthday Duane

You are never to be forgotten

Happy birthday son. You are in our thoughts daily but today especially brings beautiful memories of the time we shared together as you grew from a boy to a man who became a hero. You are not forgotten.

I have your name written inside my Honor Guard rope still. We didn't know each other but I carried you onto the plane when you left that day. The memory of your friends lined up and tearfilled let's me know you were a great person. It was an honor to help send you home. Enjoy peace.
