Duc Van Nguyen

DUC VAN NGUYEN, age 78, a resident of Grand Prairie, Texas for 14 years formerly of Vietnam, died Monday, September 25, 2006 in Irving. Born May 18, 1928 in Nam Dinh, Vietnam to Vien Van and Hoa Thi Ngo, he was a member of St. Joseph Vietnamese Catholic Church in Grand Prairie. Duc was preceded in death by his wife, Ho Thi Nguyen; daughter, Dung Nguyen; and son, Tam Nguyen. Survivors include his children, Thanh Nguyen of Grand Prairie, Benjamin Nguyen and Huong Nguyen, both of Irving, Lien Nguyen of Grand Prairie, Loan Nguyen of Irving, Ngoc Nguyen of Grand Prairie and Hoang Nguyen of Sachse; several grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Khai Nguyen of Vietnam; sisters, Chich Ngo, Chi Ngo and Tam Ngo, all of Vietnam. Viewing 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home. Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., Friday at Donnelly’s Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 30, 2006 at St. Joseph Vietnamese Catholic Church, 1902 South Beltline Road, Grand Prairie. Burial to follow at Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington.
