Not sure what to say?

Duffy, God bless you and your family.
You were and will always be "Airborne All The Way" John Dorsey COL (ret) Air Assault!

Duffy yor are a lifetime friend and model of a positive outlook on life for me. You will be so missed as a kindred spirit. You always created “adventures” that I was either involved in or heard about from others. They made my workaday life more exciting. When I was looking for more input on my spiritual journey, you always has a nugget from your journey for me to chase. When I came to Salt Lake from Michigan a few years ago, the reunion party with the old drill team gang remains the...

Isabel & Oliver,
My thoughts and prayers are with you... Duffy was a great person, even when he was in pain. We would have probably starved if it weren't for you guys when we got to Seattle. You know Duffy is probably telling some of his jokes and stories to Lawrence right now. If you ever want to talk, Isabel, call me or e-mail me at [email protected] Two great men are gone but they leave wonderful memories for their families and friends. Oliver you are such a great little...

Dear family,

We will miss Duffy's wit and kindness. He was always a bright spot for us. Love, Lauri, Carol, Doc and K.

Duffy,
It was our honor to have known you.

Thank you for all you did for Diane and myself and all Americans.

We will miss you, but we know we will see you again.

Duffy, Isabel,Oliver, Brandon, Jo Ann and "Family"
Duffy was a wonderful man who touched everyone he met's life. He was a dear friend and his absence is immensely felt by me but everyone else. The Ute tailgaters will miss your presence. Look forward to seeing you again.

From the time I first met you to the time when Carol and I got to know you, we have been impressed by your even personality, your devotion to family and friends and by your unreal level of energy. The "bunny" has nothing on you. Your sense of humor has always been infectious. You could make a rock laugh. We don't know how you managed all that in spite of the great health problems you faced. We'll hoist a few at your wake, and we'll undoubtedly laugh at your jokes again. Godspeed, Duffy,...

JoAnne and the rest of Duffy's Family:

You all have our deepest sympathy and condolences. We have lost a wonderful man who has always been a good friend. As a fellow Ute, who served as Duffy's deputy commander of the cadet brigade and an Airborne Ranger with the 101st Airborne Division, we have walked much of the same ground, shared many laughs, shed some tears, and spilt our blood. Yet through it all, Duffy always had the ability to see a silver lining and keep us laughing at...

Dear Isabelle and Oliver,
My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you both, also for the rest of Duffy's family. I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Duffy and you for very long, but he always had a smile when you would stop with him in the wheelchair on your way outside for some fresh air and a friendly word. I miss the chats we would occasionally have in the "FamilyRoom". Please know that you are in my prayers. Fran Larson apt 509
