Not sure what to say?

Reed & family,
Today being 12/08/2010 the POETS met at the White Dog Inn for lunch, poetry, and foolishness. Jimmy Jay started our meeting with a poem which ended by saying that the meal for all the poets was paid for by Dan Holler in honor of Dee Lawson. Today we saw a lot of grown men cry. It was verytouching! Because of snow, the cowboy from Charlottesvill was unable to join us be we felt the emotion of his gesture. Keith

I always thought this was the sweetest photo. I have loved it since I was little

Reed, Dunbar and Sudy -- what a shock to learn of Dee's death from our cousin Elaine (Mary Braxton's daughter). Please know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers. You'll be hearing from us soon.
Love, Gayle and Mike Weiss

Reed, Barbara and I just learned of Dee's sudden passing while we were on our way south for the winter. Our love and prayers go to you and your family. During our time in Mathews, Dee was always such a special friend. His complex nature and sense of what was right for people were an inspiration to me.

Dear Reed, Adriane, & Anna -

We are so very sorry for this tragedy. We have thought of you much, and you have our sincere condolences.

Dunbar; Reed & family - I send my heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your beloved Dee. May the love of your family and friends bring you comfort; may God's grace bring you peace.

So sorry for your loss.

Reed and girls; What a shock and what a loss. Having been stationed with you in Brunswick, Japan and finally in Virginia, your friendship has been a lasting part of our time in the Navy and then in retirement. Reed - you are my dearest friend and I cannot imagine your loss. Don and I were so fortunate to have had Dee and you all in our lives and in our hearts.

Love, Lyn and Don

Anna, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Our deepest sympathy goes to you and your family.
Love, Bill & Betty Aardappel
