I knew Duncan when he was a senior leader in AIT (now STO) at SS/L in the Nineties, and recently as head of master scheduling for the leading commercial satellite maker. Duncan was as smart and charming as any man I knew and he was an incredible asset to the company as well as a friend. I miss our Burger King runs at lunchtime with John Gatta and Steve Smiley. When I returned to SS/L in 2010-11 I left Duncan a message but he was always too busy to meet for lunch. I'll say a prayer for you,...
