I remember Mr. Butler with great affection. He had a nickname for everyone. I was "Pop and Fresh." He welcomed me in his home, along with Mrs. Butler. Those were times I will never forget. He was a great man. I'm very sorry that I wasn't there to say goodbye.

Dear Butler family: I was best friends with Bebe Hatchett; Robert and his friends use to swim at the Hatchett's and I would be there with Bebe; of course we were 5 years younger so we thought all those guys were "gods" :) Bebe called me about the sad news but my mind goes back to those fun days at the Hatchett's and that will be my memory keeper. Sincerely, Mary Amerman Weir, Dallas, Texas
