I was just thinking of Duncan (Whitebeard as I knew him) today as I was remembering my days in Sault Ste. Marie. He was a man with heart, I think, and a pleasure to "know," even though I never met him face to face.

I loved Duncan's column, even if it answered a question about a make or model I didn't own. I always learned something that could help me with my own vehicle - or point a friend in the right direction with their car problem. I send heartfelt condolences to his family. Bless you all.

I know nothing about cars but always read Mr. Kaimerl's column when we got the Courant. His knowledge never failed to amaze me. God bless.

To a man whose heart and life was bigger than he was..the memories shared are even bigger..I'm glad you were my dad. The kindest and gentlest man I may ever have met.
