Not sure what to say?

Dear JoAnn and Patrick,
When reading the Citizen online the other day, we are in Florida, I read of your Dad's passing. I am so very sorry and my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. He was so dedicated, along with your Mom, coming out to all the Aglow meetings for so many years. He will be sorely missed.

Dear Muriel

I was so saddened to hear about Duncan. I have such fond memories of sharing in your friendship and support from my teenage years in Westboro Church choir and the many occasions we shared thoughout the years. Particularly I remember your solid, kind support during our parents last few months, how you and your family gave so generously of your time and devotion during those difficult times.

My prayers are with you and your family at this sad time, but I know that...

Dear Joanne and Patrick:
We are so sorry for your loss. For many years we enjoyed 'visits' from both your Mom and Dad at the Clinic. Our deepest sympathy at this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Dr. Eric Delorme and Staff

I'm truly sorry to hear of Duncan's passing, and at the same time rejoice that he and Muriel are together with their Lord.

I enjoyed singing with both of them in the Westboro choir before I moved to Saint John. I know that his fine voice and musicality will be missed.

Duncan was also a link to my Dad. They didn't know each other very well, but I know that there is a photograph in my Dad's albums of Duncan in some show during their days at UofS. Duncan played a chemist doing an...

Dear Joanne, Cameron & family,
Our deepest sympathy in the loss of your father. It was an honour to share a brief time with him as his roommate at the Civic Hospital. It's rare to find such a kind and gentle person in life. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time but it must be a comfort to know that your father is now with his Heavenly Father and his earthly trials are over. His many accomplishments, acts of kindness, and good deeds will most certainly be richly...

My deepest sympathy to Cameron, Joanne and Family. I have known Duncan and Muriel for many years, what a wonderful couple. My late husband George worked under Duncan at the Department of Agriculture on Carling Avenue Ottawa and thought very highly of him. Will always remember the beautiful Christmas Parties at their home. MY thoughts and prayers are with you all in your time of grief.

Dear Joanne, Cameron and family,

I was very saddened to hear of the loss of your Dad. I have many fond memories of both Muriel and Duncan at Westboro. They brought so much caring and compassion to others and will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time.

Duncan was my close friend for more than 60 years and he will be greatly missed. My sincere sympathy to Joanne, Cameron and family.

And in the Heavens there were Angels and Arch Angels singing praises to God in the highest. And now, they have the heavenly voice of Duncan to round out their beautiful chorus. Forever the perfect gentleman, the omnipresent figure at every function, every bedside, and right beside anyone who needed to just talk, or hear a comforting word. At any gathering, always with Muriel at his side, together they cast such love, majesty and reverence. And often with a hint of perfect humor. Everyone who...
