Duong Bui

In 1973, Mr Duong Bui was my "homeroom teacher" for nine months at the Defense Language Institute of Monterey California. He was smart and kind-my favorite kind of person-as well as being patient and multi talented. When I knew him, he was highly ranked nationally in the US as an amateur tennis player. I helped Mr.Bui throughout the years at my previous employment & he was always so sweet & kind! Even if we didn't have business that day, if he was in for anything else he would always stop by my office to say hi & check in with me.

Kim and Family, I am so saddened to read of our friend and neighbor, Mr Bui. What a wonderful, delightful, quiet, and dignified man he was. As well as being a supportive neighbor, I enjoyed running into him at Safeway on occasion. We didn't exchange much conversation but he always brightened my day. Please accept our condolences.
