Duong Quach

Duong was the superstar "front of the house" man at Phong Lan Restaurant for years, and he served me, together with generations of Coe College students dining on Vietnamese cuisine as they studied the complex history between the U.S. and Vietnam. His memory for "regulars" was extraordinary, his hard work and connection with our groups, impeccable. Thank you, Duong, for what you brought to Cedar Rapids-you will be missed, and Rest in Peace.
