Dushan L. "Nooks" Ivanovich

I am Jim Damiani, the son in law of Pat Fusaro, Tilli's older brother. I grew up knowing and seeing the same things I have read others say in this guest book. Nooks was a gentleman's gentleman. His positive attitude was beyond words. My favorite memory will always be a trip Nooks, Pat Fusaro, Danny Griffin and my father Francis and I took to KC one time in my father's camper. I am Angela Davis, grand daughter of Chris and Joe Compiano. My grandmother was Uncle Nooks sister. My grandma passed away in 1996. All I can picture is one big pitch game heaven!
When I was about 10, I remember is Uncle Nooks made me a pair of stilts! He even taught me how to use them! And Aunt Tilli is my namesake. My thoughts and prayers are with you!

I am Janice Scalise Gatlin, daughter of Larry and Zora Scalise. My mother, Zora Ivanovich Scalise, born in 1920, was a younger sister of Uncle Nooks. As a child growing up in Des Moines, I always looked forward to going to see Uncle Nooks and Aunt Tilli. They always had treats, hugs and kisses for me and my sister, Carole. My thoughts and my heart are with Aunt Tilli, family and friends.

I am Deborah Ivanovich, daughter of Dan and Betty Ivanovich. Dan, my dad, who passed away 2 years, was a younger brother of Uncle Nooks, as we knew him. My thoughts are with Aunt Tilli and all who knew him. He was a special person and a loved Uncle.
