Not sure what to say?

I never got to meet this young man. However, my husband, Robert Clay, did. We adopted Dustan's dog, a Siberian husky, named Maltese back in Jan. 2014. He sent pictures back to Jackee and Dustan as he had promised Dustan that Maltese would always have a good home with us. On Feb. 16, 2023, we lost Maltese. Can't believe it's been 6 years since I last saw you. Just seems like yesterday. Sure, miss our training sessions we had.

I was so lucky to have gotten to know Dustan these past two years. He came to me to help train his German Shepard Lara, his Service Dog. Lara will now stay with Jackee and Hope.

Please accept my most heartfelt sympathies for your loss, my thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time. Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts.

Thoughts and prayers during this difficult time

Dusty was referred to by some as 'the boy who lives in your backyard.' He was at our house so much during his teen years, hanging out with my kids. They all loved playing flashlight tag or 'spot em' as they called it and all kinds of other outdoor games, watching movies, playing video games, whatever.
He became dear to us, the mischievous imp with the heart of gold.
His loss is great. Know that you are all in our prayers and our hearts.
