Dustin "Dusty" Harvey

Dustin “Dusty� Harvey, 30, of 255 Limestone Street, died Sunday, March 27, 2011, at home. He was born October 1, 1980, in Spartanburg and attended Spartanburg Technical College. Dusty was a volunteer for the Pacolet Mills Rescue Squad and Fire Department, a lifelong USC Gamecock fan, and a member of Brown’s Chapel Baptist Church. Survivors include his father and stepmother, Randy and Rena Harvey of Whitestone; his mother and stepfather, Libby Wells Moore and Bo Moore of Pacolet; brother, Blane Harvey of Buffalo, SC; paternal grandparents, Jimmy and Erlene Harvey of Pacolet; maternal grandparents, Robert and Gloria Wells of Pacolet; and Precious, his loving companion Toy Dachshund. Visitation will be 7:00-9:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at Floyd’s Pacolet Chapel. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at Brown’s Chapel Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Ralph E. Jett and the Rev. Timothy Fowler. Burial will be in Pacolet Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dustin Harvey Memorial Fund, P.O. Drawer 1530, Spartanburg, SC 29304. The family is at the home.
