JOHNSON, Dustin Lee, 18, of Quinton, passed away on August 10, 2008. He was born in Richmond on October 17, 1989. Dustin has been a lifelong resident of Quinton and had attended New Kent High School. He worked with his father at M.L. Johnson & Sons as a carpenter. Dustin loved adventure and enjoyed motorcycles, wakeboarding, jet skiing and being with his friends. He will be dearly missed by all. Survivors include his parents, Michael and Dana of Quinton; sister, Heather Craft and husband, Rick, of Quinton; brother, Cody Wayne of Quinton; grandparents, C.L. and Rita Johnson of Sandston; grandmother, Gina Trimmer and husband, Ted, of Sandston; grandfather, Wayne Michael Valentino of Saluda; niece, Hailey; and nephew, Brad Craft, both of Quinton; numerous family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Wayne Johnson. Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 13, at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Laburnum Chapel. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. the following day at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.

i am so sorry to hear about your loss. my family and i send our condolences. dustin was an unbelivably amazing guy, and made an impression on many lives. he was constantly making me smile, everytime i saw him. he will forever be missed.

I was welcomed home today
my uncle Wayne took my hand ,
I asked how do you know me and a smile came to his face .
his smile was warm like sunshine and this is what he said , I got a message from your dad ,it was sent to me with love , please let dustin know we miss him and wish we could hold him tight but he's with you now brother so we know he will be alright !

To Dana Mike & Family & Gina & Ted Trimmer....I am so sorry for your loss and just to know that God has again one of his Precious children Home w/ him is so much comfort. God Bless you all and Gina, do not hesitate to call on me as all of you go thru this sorrow and emptiness that in time will get a little easier. In Love and Prayers. Mike,Dana and Codey. I am so sorry for your lose. Wene my son Bernard came home and told me I was in shock. I couldnt beleive it. I keep saying are you sure.I can't nor do I want two amagine the pain and sorrow you and your family is going though. To the entier family we are deeply saddened.
