Dustin "Brown" Taylor Wilder, 29, of Sloan, Iowa passed away on Friday, January 9, 2015 at his residence. Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Friday, January 16, 2015 at Rush Family Chapel in Onawa, IA with Pastor Catie Newman, officiating. Burial will be in the Willow Township Cemetery at Holly Springs, IA. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. â€“ 8:00 P.M. Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Rush Family Chapel in Onawa, IA. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service in Onawa, IA. Dustin Taylor was born on May 8, 1985 in Sioux City, Iowa the son of David Leroy and Donna Lou (Smith) Wilder. Dustin grew up in the Sloan, Iowa area and attended school at Westwood High School in Sloan, Iowa. He was currently employed by Eliason Construction in Salix, Iowa. Dustin was an avid sportman. He loved the Minnesota Vikings, Iowa Hawkeyes, and Chicago Cubs. He enjoyed fishing and playing darts with his friends. Survivors include his father, David L. Wilder (FiancÃ© Esther M. Arriaga) of Salix, IA; his daughter, Bailey Wilder and her mother, Nikki Steffensmeier of Columbus, OH; two sisters, Staci Wilder of Sioux City, IA and Amy Schable (FiancÃ© Heath Winsor) of Onawa, IA; one niece, Patience Winsor of Onawa, IA; his maternal grandmother, Mary Smith of Sioux City, IA; his girlfriend, Nicki Clayton Gray and her children, James, Kody, Kim, and Kayla of Sloan, IA; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and good friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Wilder; sister, Heidi Wilder; maternal grandfather, Wayne Smith; and paternal grandparents, James "Red" Wilder and Lillian Orr.
