Dr. Dwayne R. Buxton

Dwayne Buxton was my PhD Advisor at Iowa State and one of the brightest, creative, and hard-working Professors I have ever known. I stayed with his family on more than one occasion and the Buxtons are simply the best. Compassionate, entertaining, full of energy and highly intelligent. Thanks to the Famous Dr. Dwayne R. Buxton and his family, I finished my doctorate, became a professor right away, and have been a Professor of Biology for over 30 years. Thank you, Dr. Buxton!

Barbara and family, I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Dwayne. I enjoyed chatting with him on a few of his daily walks in Bridgetower. Keep his memories close to your heart. My prayers are with him you all during this difficult time.
