DWAYNE HAD A BIG SMILE FOR EVERYONE. HE HAPPILY AND WITH HIS TOTAL HEART AND MIND FOUGHT TO GIVE USE THE ENTITLEMENTS DUE US VIA OUR EMPLOYER(VA). HE DIDN'T TURN ANYONE AWAY WHO NEEDED HIS ASSISTANCE. DWAYNE WAS A MAN WHO APPPEARED WELL BEYOUND HIS YEARS. I WILL KEEP HIS MEMORY WITH ME AND MAY THE BYRD FAMILY AND HIS FRIENDS CONTINUE TO RECEIVE THEIR BLESSINGS FOR HE IS TRUELY IN A BETTER PLACE....

I am Eden Gurley's daughter, Carrie (Dick and Rita Gurley's grand-daughter) and I grew up a few houses down from you on Elmwood Drve. I just saw Dwayne's obituary and I wanted to express my most sincere condolences to you and your family. Even though we moved from Aurora over 15 years ago, I still remember your family fondly. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time.
