Not sure what to say?

My belated sympathies to the Holman family on the passing of their family member, Dwayne Holman. Dwayne was my Government Professor many years back in 1971 and 1972 at Wharton County Junior College in Wharton, Texas. Dwayne not only taught his students the academics of Government but introduced a number of us to the practical workings of the electoral process. As our campus, Young Democrats sponsor, he urged us and students in the campus Young Republicans to get involved in active politics as...

Love to all of you

My love is with you all during this time.

So sad to hear of the passing of Dwayne, "Dwayneee" as so many of us at TAC affectionately called him. I was Dwayne's assistant in preparing the training sessions for the judges and commissioners at TAC. We traveled many miles together over the state of Texas and other states in that capacity. He was the perfect traveling companion, always agreeable to take a route not planned, maybe we were lost (not very often...Dwayne had the map and I drove) or we saw a historical marker and decided to...

My condolences to the family, especially Mike, Lou Ann, Denney and Lori. Dwayne was 11 years my senior in Bonham, but that meant nothing during the times we bumped into each other in Austin over the last 50 years. Dwayne was always gracious and witty and a pleasure to be around. My dear friend Bobby Nelson mentions that author Lonn Taylor was Dwayne's only competition in Texas History showdowns; well, Lonn Taylor became a friend of mine in the years before his death, and when he learned I was...

Dear Mike & family, I am so sorry to hear of your brother's passing. You are in my thoughts & prayers.

Denny, Mike. Lou Ann, Lori and families, we are so sorry to hear about Dewayne. May you find comfort in your sweet memories of him. Prayers for you all.

Dwayne will be missed. Condolences to his family. We will never forget our time when we visited the Governor’s office We visited with the governor and then Dwayne took us on a tour of the mansion.

I am very sorry to hear this about Dwayne, he help me put some of the Holman genealogy pieces together. That's when we found out that the bloodlines run together. Our hearts and prayers go to the rest of the family.
