Kinney, Dwayne R. "Dee" 64, of Orono on May 1, 2008, following cardiac arrest. Survived by wife, Loree (Lorna Kerr- Walker), mother, Sally (Celestine V. Kinney); son, Charlie (Jan); stepson, Dominic Sorensen (Mariana); grandchildren, Melissa and William "Wilbur Bean" Sorensen; and many cousins and friends. Preceded in death by father, Dwayne W. Kinney, and maternal grandparents, Mathias and Ida Maglich. Graduate of Princeton, MN high school and St. Cloud State University and studied for master's degree at University of California at Berkeley. Dee was well loved and well traveled. His business career spanned 37 years with Flotronics, ITT Schadow, Carlson Store Fixtures, Best Tool of Plymouth, Sharon Industries, and finally Loree's bar and grill at Maple Plain that he co-owned with his wife. Dee loved bluegrass music, blue jeans, the St. Croix River, fine champagne, good conversation and good times with friends.
