Dwendle Estella Oates McLean, Born November 5, 1928, in Sampson county to the late Alford & Estella Oates. She departed this life at her home she ate Sampson County Schools in Newton North Carolina. She was a devoted member of St. Peter's disciples of Christ until her health started to decline. She held positions as President of the Usher Board, She was a member of the Christian fellowship she also was on the mission board and a member of GRDA Usher of the Smithfield District. She was a member of the Flora Club she was also a member of the ever-ready club. Ms. Dwendle was a hardworking woman. She worked as a domestic worker. When her kids were small she also worked at lighting Antecedent for many years. She worked at K.R. Edwards tobacco Factory she retired and she went on to work for a lawyer Jimmy Narron. She worked as a nanny for Lampe her last final job was taking care of Rodgers. She proceeded in death by her husband; Eillis McLean one son Charles Watson two grandsons Marcus Raynor DeAndr'e Raynor two sisters Noralena and Mary Frances, and eight brothers. She leaves to cherish her earthly memories for daughters Barber McLean (Charles) of Raleigh NC Louise usher(Bobby) Stella Taylor (Allen) Melvin Ricky Watson of Smithfield NC two bonus Larry Sneed and Robert Whitfield. Eight granddaughters, Eight grandsons,20 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren a host of nieces nephews, and cousins whom she loved dearly. MaMa I love you, you may be gone, But definitely, never-forgotten you're home now where there is no pain or no worries.
