One of my all time favorite teachers!!! Mr. Coil was my 6th grade teacher. He'd round up all the computers (like 6) in school so we could program/plot pictures on them if we were good enough each month. I loved those computer afternoons in the 80's, lol. He read aloud to us most every day for books like View from the Cherry Tree. I still hear his voice when I read that one. What a wonderful man, teacher and inspiration!

Such a wonderful man who touch so many lives. I was fortunate to do my student teaching with Dwight in 1993. He had a huge heart and so much to offer to his students. I learned many valuable things from Dwight that I have carried into my teaching today. I visited with him and exchanged Christmas cards for many years after I worked with him. Thank you Dwight for your contributions to the kids and teachers of Shoreline. You will be missed.
