Not sure what to say?

Diane, I have been trying find the words to express my thoughts to you and your family upon hearing of Dwight's passing. I really enjoyed the delightful times that I spent visiting with both of you at Mays gatherings. Dwight was such an engaging and genuine person. I pray that you find solice in happy memories. Blessings to you and your family.

Dear Diane:
As we expressed in the card sent to you, we are so sad to hear of the loss of Dwight. Although not a person who was in the headlines, Dwight fits our concept of a GREAT man. His contributions and legacy live thru his wonderful family, friends, colleagues and many thousands of students. Dwight touched us all thru his wisdom, warmth, thoughtfulness, rock solid ethics, and love. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.

Diane,

I was so sorry to read of Dwight's death. Mary Ann had told me earlier of his illness, but I had not had a recent report. Though I did not know him, I do know that he had a wonderful family. I did not see you often the past several years, but it was always fun to be with you. I think often of the great fun-filled time we had at Marsha's home when you were preparing to move. Those "back to school friends" are so special.

My love and deepest sympathy to you and your...

Diane,
We were so surprised and saddened to see the announcement in the EAGLE. Seems like just a short while ago we were eating chili, in Austin, before the TAMU/UT game with our sons. You and Dwight were such great parents and friends to Gavin and his high school buddies and we appreciate you immensely for that. If you want to visit in C.S. please know that you have a place.

Dear Conway Family,
I'd like to share my deepest sympathies and also thank you for all the fond memories I have Dr. Conway and your entire family. Dr. Conway and all of you were always so welcoming to me, even with the occasional trouble that Pat and I would get into. You are all in my thoughts and prayers

Diane and Kathy, those days in Girl Scouts and piano lessons seem long, long ago but the memories of knowing you are still warm. We are so very sorry for your loss and pray you will find comfort in all the years you had together.

Diane,
I am so deeply saddened by your loss. You and Dwight shared a very special relationship and all those wonderful memories will continually warm your heart. You will always remain very close to my heart, and I will be there for support whenever needed. May the Lord comfort you in the months ahead. Your dear friend,
Patty

Diane: Florence & I were so fortunate to have Dwight & you as friends for so long here in BCS. I will always remember our great times at bridge & dancing. Dwight was a special person with keen wit & intellect. He always had something interesting to say.
I am sorry that we lost contact in the last two years which were sadly marked by Dwight's cancer & Florence's death from a sudden heart attack, 30 Jan. 06. If you wish later to contact me by email, I will be glad to send you more...

Diane, we have missed you and Dwight in the neighborhood ever since you left. We were shocked and saddened to read the paper this morning. We know that you and the children will be comforted by many, many fine memories shared with a special husband and father.
