I extend my deepest condolences to Rev. Joan Halstead and the Halstead family. Those who knew Dwight are aware his transition was gentle and that he is free of the limitations of his last decade or more. The person you knew and loved also meant a great deal to his many students. Numerous people in Western New York are able to mark their start and spiritual development to attending Dwight's classes.
Dwight began teaching well-before I attended his Introduction to Spiritual Healing...

Dwight was like a father figure, yet he still had the playful heart and mind of a child. I learned so much from him. I'm am quite sure that Dwight's Soul must be well pleased with his Spirit as per this human experience, for Dwight was a man that had been everywhere, and done everything. In fact I really enjoyed all the old stories he shared every time we got together. He had such great and interesting stories and pictured too. My deepest sympathies to Joan and the family. Always in Love,...

I met Mr. Galstead, aka Grandpa, at Kaboodles Kafe' where he used to enjoy a meal everyday there. I fondly remember him coming in everyday and everyone there saying hello to him and asking "How are you doing today Grandpa?" and him answering "I'm hungry!" He didn't care if it was breakfast or lunch time, he would sip his coffee through a straw and wait for his bowl of fruit and his fried shrimp dinner. Grandpa was an amazing gentleman and will be dearly missed by many!!

My deepest sympathies to Joan and all your family. Dwight was a delightful man. I still remember when the Serials Records crew came out to my house and we discovered that fabulous spider web in the shrubs. Dwight took many pictures of it. We won't even talk about climate control in CTS. May many happy memories bring you comfort and peace.
