Not sure what to say?

Dwight and I were college roommates and trusted friends for years at Western. As other guests have mentioned, he was an extremely kind and caring person and, together, we got it done...classes, credits, graduation, jobs, marriage, and retirement. His humor was dry, subtle and, dare I say, politely sarcastic. His John "The Duke" Wayne impersonation of "Howdy, Howdy, Howdy..." was absolutely the best! And as Dwight would admit with his classic big smile "Whoda thunk I could be an artist?" ...

I got to know Dwight when I worked in Cowlitz County. He was a nice guy and always did a great job of taking care of the needs of our office. My condolences to his wife and family.

Dwight was a great friend from school. We grew up on Beacon Hill and went through all grades together. We saw each other at class reunions and lately luncheons. Dwight you will be greatly missed by all of us. Class of 71.

Life, in all it's wonder and mystery, was not wasted on Dwight Herron. Truly one of the kindest, most-intelligent, gifted, gentle souls to ever make this world a better place. His depth can not be measured. Nor the breadth of his heart. If you were blessed enough to know him...you knew a great man and an extraordinary human being. He will be deeply missed. We loved you so very much. Terry and Vicki Soderberg

Dwight was a kind and special person. Knew him in school he was so smart God Bless you in heaven. Prayers to the family.

An interesting, interested, talented, engaging, and fun man. To top it off, he was good. He will be missed. -his friend Paul
