Not sure what to say?

Still remembering the great CCD teacher he was when we taught in Hopedale. Sacred Heart. Taken too soon. Rest in beautiful peace Dwight. Amen

Dear Chris, Carrie, and Tim - I am so sorry for your loss. Carrie and Tim, I hope you take some of those wonderful qualities of your father's and keep his spirit alive by adopting them as your own.

I worked for Dwight for a couple years as a technical instructor until my growing family made travel for work impossible.

Somehow he put up with my loose cannon tendencies and got a good day's work out of me - most of the time. And he always made me feel that my effort...

Dearest Chris, Carrie and Timmy:
Occasions such as this require so much to be said, but it is oh so difficult to avoid the trite, or the obvious, or worse yet the presumption. Although we found all too few occasions to be together with you folks (exeception Carrie and I know she can recount vividly) what little time that we (the "Porters") enjoyed was sufficient for us to appreciate how unusual and extraordinary Dwight was - he certainly loved life to the fullest and to the end! As sad...

I had the pleasure of working with Dwight at McCormack & Dodge and Dun & Bradstreet and Geac software. He was a great person, so kind, thoughtful and caring. He was one of my first mentors as I began as a trainer in the Chicago office and I also taught in Boston. My thoughts and prayers are with Dwight's family and friends at this time.

Chris, Tim, and Carrie - We are so saddened to hear about the passing of your husband and father, a beautiful man. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time.

I was saddened and stunned to hear of Dwight's passing. I worked with him at Segue Software for several years. I have never met a kinder, gentler person than Dwight. He took a lot of pride in his work (curriculum development/ training) and was great at what he did. He also was always willing to help any of his colleagues in any way that he could. Deepest sympathy to Dwight's family - we have lost a good one. If only the world had more people like Dwight.

My husband and I both worked with Dwight at Applix. We had only a short while with him but the memory of his gentle spirit remains ever clear in mind and heart. I often hoped I'd get a chance to see him again. Warm thoughts and condolences. Eileen & Anthony Hunt, (Wareham MA)

Chris,Carrie and Timothy,
We were very sorry and saddened to hear of Dwight's passing. Dwight was a wonderful man and a credit to our community. He will be missed by all of us. Our deepest sympathies.
The Winroth Family

I had the pleasure of working with Dwight at Segue Software and remember him as a kind and thoughtful man. At a farewell luncheon when the company was dissolving, Dwight told of an encouraging voicemail that he had received from a colleague during his first few weeks at Segue. He had kept the voicemail for years and would listen to it when he needed reassurance. His story reminded me that offering a kind word may only take a moment, but it can stay with the recipient for a lifetime.
