Not sure what to say?

Dwight and I were born in the same year and met back in the 70's when I was dating his sister, Dancy. Rusty was already a photographer with the AJC and was indeed locally noted for his diligence in "getting the picture right". As the years went by, I lost track of him and his family, though I always checked the pictures in the AJC for his name and saw it often. I still remember him and his family with great affection, and offer them my most sincere condolences.
In shared sorrow,

Dwight was an adorable character. He took my husband and I to the Atlanta Opera once and it seemed like everyone in the Symphony section recognized Dwight. He was a kind and gentle soul and extremely entertaining. He will be missed and I am sorry for your loss.

Polly,

Please accept my heartfelt sympathies for you and your family's loss. Dwight was certainly one of kind. I'm thankful that I had the opportunity to say my goodbyes last Sunday. I'm also grateful to have had the opportunity to meet you.

Sincerely,
Angela Durham

Dear Polly and Todd,

I am sorry for the grief of the loss of your father. I know in cases of dementia this grief often comes years before the physical loss.

I am praying that you will retain the happy memories of good times shared in years past, and can reflect on those each time that opera flows through your hearing.

Love,
Judy Faulk

Condolences to you and your family. May God continue to watch over you during this time.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends in your hour of grief. May you find peace and comfort in the words of God.

My dad has been cremated and his ashes will be entered into the memorial garden with his parents at the Cathedral of St. Phillips in Buckhead with a private family ceremony.
