Dwight A. Simon

The D in DICOM will always stand for Dwight. He was a remarkable leader who left lasting positive impression.

Recently I decided to look up my old Air Force buddy and was so sorry to discover his passing. Dwight and I went through USAF Basic training together and in the fall of 1963 were assigned to Indiana University to study the Russian language. After many years, I decided to look up my old Air Force buddy, Dwight. I was so sorry to read of his passing. Dwight and I went through USAF Basic Training together and were both assigned to Indiana University to study Russian. During that time, about the spring of 1964, my wife, Shirley, and I traveled with Dwight to Milwaukee to visit his parents. Although Dwight and I served together for only a year before going in different directions, we were good friends.

So sorry to hear of Dwights passing. He was a great high school friend and the center of all our Juneau High School reunions. My love and prayers to Sandy.

I was so sad to hear about Dwight. I absolutely adored him! My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family. He will be missed.
